Thank you to all KS1 parents who attended the Maths Café with their lovely children today. We were overwhelmed at the uptake of places and we were delighted with the very positive feedback we received. This allows us to continue to offer events such as this and to continue to help you to support your children with the school curriculum.
The next Maths Cafe is for Miss Noble’s Class on 11th January 330pm – look forward to seeing you in the new year!
Calling all KS1 parents! We have a bit of a festive twist at our Maths Café on Monday 4th December. Come along to join in with fun and exciting maths activities with your child and the added bonus of hot chocolate, mince pies and festive slices. You don’t want to miss this!

In aid of Children in Need, Key Stage 1 and Year 3/4 went walking around our local area. We enjoyed a stroll through Jarrow Hall, past Charlie’s Park, along the river and back to school. We walked a total of 2.3 miles which is a fab achievement for little legs!
We had so much fun and Year 3/4 did a fantastic job of looking after Reception so we must say a massive thank you to them.
We finished the ramble with a selfie, like all good Rambles should end.
We have been reading the story ‘The Bog Baby’. Today is National Poetry Day so we changed the words to a poem and we practised it over and over again until we knew it off by heart. Here it is…we hope you like it!
