Nursery and Reception had a fantastic trip to the beach! We made some wonderful sandcastles, buried our friends in the sand and went wave jumping. Needless to say, EVERYONE had an amazing day and we finished it off with a delicious Mr Whippy! There were a lot of sleepy heads on the bus journey home. We can’t wait for our next trip to the beach!
We had a great time at the farm feeding and holding the animals and learning all about them. The tractor ride was great even though it was very bumpy and we even got time to play in the park before our journey back to school!
Calling all Nursery and Reception parents…there is still time! Don’t miss it!
Come along to the Nursery and Reception Maths Café on Wednesday 7th June at 9am. There will be fantastic opportunities to work alongside your child and complete fun maths games. There will also be tea, coffee, juice, biscuits and cakes.

We really hope to see you all there!
The children have been working ever so hard in Nursery this half term. We have covered lots of topics and interests. We have learned about the Arctic and animals in the wild.
There have been lots of special days including: Valentine’s Day, St David’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, World Book Day, Comic Relief “Mild to Wild” Day and Mother’s Day.
Well done and thank you children for learning and singing your nursery rhymes for nursery rhyme week 2016. You all made your teachers and your parents very proud. A big thank you to all parents for your continued support.

Today all of the children tried very hard to understand the meaning of Remembrance Day. This morning Nursery children have been making poppies to remember our fallen soldiers. At 11 o’clock nursery observed the two minutes silence watching a short video by CBeebies explaining the meaning of the poppies. Well done Nursery children for trying to sit quietly for two minutes!
We had lots of Halloween fun in Nursery playing Halloween games and having Halloween treats. Thank you to all the children for making Halloween so much fun.
