Thank you to all of the Jarrow library staff who have been supporting us on our reading journey. We are very lucky to be able to visit the library fortnightly, have books read to us by the librarians and discover some amazing new literature.
This week we have been making our own natural Christmas tree in the outdoor area. We found three large sticks to make the triangle and then started to weave wool around to decorate.
This week the children of Dunn Street have been taking part in lots of activities around the theme of ‘One Kind Word’ for Anti-Bullying Week. As a school we have looked at what kindness is and how to be kinder to ourselves and others. We started the week with the whole school wearing odd socks to celebrate our differences.
Nursery made Gingerbread men today and they managed to escape. Luckily Nursery tracked them all down and ate them!!
