Ten Things to do at home and in the local area
- Visit Charlie’s park and practise climbing, balancing and sliding.
- Go on a bug hunt and record what you find.
- Draw a picture of your bedroom and label what is inside like the girl from ‘Journey’.
- Practise your teddy bear rolls.
- Make a map starting at your front door to your favourite place to walk to.
- Collect ten different leaves and compare them.
- Sing ‘Big River’ while looking at the River Tyne.
- Visit Catherine at the library and read as many books as you can carry!
- Write a list of all of your friends at school.
- Estimate and then count how many steps it is from different rooms/places in your home/local area.
