I am so proud of the effort all the children have made this year developing and improving their drumming skills.

Pupils have had the opportunity to play musically with increasing confidence and control. They have developed an understanding of musical composition and reproducing sounds from aural memory. Year 4/5 have played and performed in solo and ensemble contexts playing musical instruments with increasing accuracy, fluency, control and expression. As part of the session, they listened with attention to detail and recalled sounds with increasing aural memory.  The session also helped then to appreciate and understand a wide range of music drawn from different traditions.

Many thanks to Mr Olutunji too for all his hard work and we look forward to performing for you at this year’s Sports Day – 8th July.
