Over the festive period, the hard-working KS2 choir participated in a range of performances.  They were able to do this as they attended after-school clubs, gave up lunch-times and completed extra sessions within school.  This showed dedication and commitment.

Their first performance was at The Christmas Tree Festival.

The choir also collaborated with the other Blue Skies Federation schools, Marine Park and Whitburn, to perform at the South Tyneside Carol Concert at Temple Park.  We are very grateful to Mr Richardson for all his help in making this the huge success that it was!

The choir was invited to Carols by Candlelight at St Paul’s.  This has become a Dunn Street tradition and it seemed fitting that we were able to sing a composition by Mr Miller who was our pianist for many years!

Finally, the choir was the hinge pin that brought the KS2 Nativity together.  A fitting end to the festivities in school!
