Good afternoon Year 4/5,
Well, what a busy week! We have investigated direct speech, and written our own short conversations; learnt new skills in PE; drew our rainforest foreground based on a Henri Rousseau painting; created our own timeline of the Ancient Egyptian Period; gained in confidence with reading the time and converting to the 12 hr and 24 hr digital clock; had a spelling test (eeeek!); started a brand new geography topic on the rainforests of the world; we have even begun to read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and so much more! I don’t know about you, but I need a break! Here are a few shout outs for this week:
