Many thanks to Reverend Lesley who visited us for our KS2 assembly for the second time this term. She talked about how “changes” are seen as “new beginnings”. She made the link between seeds growing and needing to be put into bigger pots, as they move from being seedlings to plants, and how we progress from one class to another. She illustrated what seeds can become by presenting us with the most splendid bouquet of flowers. We saw that individual flowers have their own beauty, but when brought together, they create a new wonder!
Huge congratulations to Riley in Year 6 who is the first Dunn Street pupil to get to Lexia level 21 and complete the whole course!! Riley shows what determination and resilience can achieve! We are very proud of him!
